Our products are designed from the ground up here in the USA at our headquarters. This gives us the ability to implement new ideas and concepts not found on competing products, typically made in China.

WARNING: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PRODUCT SAFETY
Many companies that sell portable power products use Lithium Ion or Lithium Ion NMC batteries inside of their cases. Why? Because they are less expensive and this allows the manufacturer to make more money. That's reasonable, but what you may not know is that Lithium Ion and Lithium Ion NMC batteries are considered hazardous materials and may actually explode or catch fire if they are damaged or over-charged. Click on the photo to see a video that shows a lab test where the battery explodes into a fireball. This video also shows a similar type of battery we use, which is called LiFePO4. It's a newer battery technology that is much safer. The last thing you want to have happen is to buy a product that could potentially burn down your home. That's why we use this newer battery technology. In addition, our product has 8 fuses/circuit breakers on it to eliminate the possibility of short circuits. We know of no other product that does the same.
QUALITY
The quality we build into our products is so superior to other platforms. That's why you'll find 8 fuses on our top panel. We don't take shortcuts when it comes to safety and reliability.

NOTE: NOT ALL POWER PRODUCTS ARE BUILT TO LAST FOR 8 TO 10 YEARS
As mentioned above, many companies that sell portable power products use Lithium Ion or Lithium Ion NMC batteries inside of their cases. These batteries are cheaper for a reason. They typically can only be re-charged from 300 to 500 times. That's not very often if you are using the product a few times a week. That's why many of our competitors will tell you that their product has a life of 2 to 3 years. So how does that compare to our product. Our batteries can be re-charged up to 5,000 times and we estimate the life of our product at 10 years. Think about that for just a moment. Let's say you purchase another product and it costs $1,995, compared to our PowerPlant at $2,495. In 3 years, you'll need to buy a replacement for the competitor's product or at least have the unit repaired with all new batteries. In another 3 years, you'll have to do that again. Perhaps the competitor tells you to purchase a new unit. After 10 years, you will have spent nearly $6,000 to get the same life as our product at $2,495. This is just another advantage to PowerPlant. Batteries and advanced technology that gives you 3 times the life of some competing products.
